The FM has only a small management team to implement the CSF. In order to provide training and capacity development to local CSOs, the FM therefore will contract selected capacity development providers, where needed. In order to build a database of such service providers CSF advertised in July 2017 in various newspapers with a request for service providers to make their interest noticed. The CSF fund manager was especially seeking Organizational Capacity Development Service Providers who specialize in training and mentoring and coaching focusing on the following organizational capacity elements:
- organizational governance
- project planning and management
- fundraising
- proposal writing
- financial management
- monitoring and evaluation
- research
- communication management
Interested parties were requested to submit an Expression of Interest for consideration to join the pool of Service Providers whom the Civil Society Facility Project (CSF). Parties will be engaged to deliver various trainings, coaching and mentoring services related to organizational capacity development of national CSOs.
